Lucca...
is seriously the most nature filled city I have ever seen. It has such a breathtaking view and vibe everywhere. The wall around the city is one of the oldest walls built in Europe made to protect the city in times of war. So, naturally, we decided to rent bikes and ride throughout the city. It was 3euro for almost two hours on our bikes..and it was incredible..Everything is incredible in this country..but this city was just SO green with SO many trees and it literally smelled of pine and eucalyptus all around us. We rode throughout the city-having no direction of where to go just turning left, and then right, and then almost getting ran over by a vespa or two..but THIS moment..riding bikes in Italy: indescribable.
Pisa...
was also really cool FINALLY seeing this famous tower and taking these famous pictures. So much history in this city and the BEST moment was on our tour in the baptistry in front of the church..the perfect circumference of the building has perfected acoustics. We heard a beautiful one man choir which was seriously..UNBELIEVABLE. The perfected shape of this building has perfect resonance so when he sang one note, and immediately sang another, and then one more, the sound of all three notes resonating throughout the entire baptistery creating a beautiful chord. It was probably my favorite part. Also..the CHURCH was AMAZING inside. They had a dead body of a saint from Jesus' time. It was AWESOME.
Then I decided to kick the tower a little more over..
